Course will provide operators with information to provide safe drinking water to customers in accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Act. Topics to be discussed will be contamination and backflow, how to prepare for a sanitary survey, tools for source water protection, how to utilize the Drinking Water Switchboard, RTCR sampling and regulations, and understanding how water quality changes throughout the distribution system.
