This Workshop, originally developed by USDA and EPA, is intended to help rural and small systems and communities. It will provide background informa-tion on ten key management areas for sustainable water and wastewater utilities, as well as instruction and assistance on how to conduct the utility assessment process and developing an action plan.
Main Activities include discussion of the Key Management Areas for becom-ing Sustainable, a Self-Assessment Exercise on Improving Outcomes, and information on Practices, Tools, and Measures of Success.
A bonus presentation on Augmentation Plans will be given by the Rio Grande Water Conservation District at the end of the training.
