PART 1

This 2 part webinar series is designed to provide small Idaho systems with the basics of asset management with a focus toward applying the concepts to smaller water and wastewater systems.  Part 1 covers the 5 core components of asset management and applies it through a ten step process that will aid city leaders and planners in developing sustainable asset replacement programs.  The webinar will culminate with a case study where participants can use some tools available to create their own asset management plans for their systems.

PART 2

Part 2 of the asset management series begins with a brief overview of the concepts of asset management covered in part 1.  This webinar then takes some of the information gathered from an asset management plan and integrates into a broader discussion of capital improvement planning.  This series is designed to start the discussion within systems toward predictive planning vs reactive measures that often end up costing water/wastewater systems more money in the long term.
