4 NM Board/Operator Training Credits

 Featuring practical examples workshop participants will learn about the basics of financial management and why it is essential for small utilities. Key topics include developing and balancing a budget, building needed reserves, understanding financial statements and reports, and adopting sound internal controls. Focusing on smaller utilities this workshop also provides a useful introduction to asset management and setting appropriate rates.
