This course will provide and overview of the Brown Act, and best practices in agenda preparation, and recording minutes. Who's subject to the Brown Act, and the intent of the law. Agenda requirement for the different types of meetings, and when exceptions apply. Agenda posting and document distribution requirements. Best practices in taking minutes and recording meetings.
