Managing your housing counseling program can be difficult, especially in times of reduced grant income and the challenges of COVID-19. To help you succeed, our class covers these important areas of program management. 


Participants will learn:

·        HUD requirements for housing counseling agencies

·        Drafing a counseling plan that meets HUD requirements

·        Financial management including compliance with the OMB Uniform Guidance

·        How to draft and monitor an effective quality control plan

·        How to protect your client's personally identifiable information

·        Building sustainability into your counseling program with a greater focus on community impact

·        Keys to marketing your counseling program

Scholarship & Fees:

Scholarships are available for the first 75 registrants.

You must work for a HUD approved counseling agency to receive a scholarship. The scholarship code is HCOE.

if you are employed by a for-profit agency, there is a $50.00 per person fee to attend the webinar series. 


Registration is invalid if this fee is not paid at time of registration.

You must register in advance and have a valid email address to register and receive the course link and materials.
