Description:

"Surface Water Treatment Essentials Part 1" is a basic course. Whether you are a new or experienced operator, manager or board member looking to understand where surface water comes from and how it is treated. 

Participants will learn:

·        Different types of surface source water

·        Knowledge of common biological and chemical constituents related to surface water treatment

·        Multiple variations of surface water treatment

·        The disinfection process, and it's importance

·        Current California treatment rules and regulations

"Surface Water Treatment Essentials Part 2" expands on the knowledge provided in "Surface Water Treatment Essentials Part 1", as well as participate in short question and answer activities.

Participants will learn:

·        Source water

·        Biological and chemical constituents

·        Types of surface water treatment

·        The disinfection process

·        Rules and regulation

This workshop is designed for both new and seasoned operators, managers and board members who may want or need a better understanding of surface treatment principles.

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.
