This training is being held in Pacific Time.

Description:

This day-long training will cover types of distribution systems & the various components you are likely to encounter in your system, including water mains, valves, hydrants, tanks & more! We will review the basic use & operations of the components, discuss the importance of proper maintenance, & how proper O&M of your distribution system impacts water quality.

Participants will learn:

·        Distribution basics

·        Common components used in distribution systems

·        Best practices

·        Equipment maintenance

·        Water quality issues & how to resolve them

·        Troubleshooting

·        Safety

 

Target audience: Operators, supervisor, board members & anyone interested in becoming a certified operator.
