Description:

This conference will focus on providing networking opportunities with housing counselors nationwide. It presents a valuable platform for attendees to connect, exchange knowledge and establish collaborations. Bringing together housing counselors, attendees can benefit from a diverse range of perspectives, experiences and expertise, ultimately enhancing their own skills and understanding of the industry.

Participants will be able to attend more than one class that is offered below:

• 15 Steps to Homeownership (All day class)

• Beyond Work/Life Balance

• Credit Budget Counseling

• Disaster Preparation and Recovery

• Fair Housing and AFFH

• Foreclosure 101

• HECM Default Counseling Overview-Certification Course (All day class)

• HUD Compliance

• Pre-Purchase Counseling

 

Each session is three hours unless otherwise noted.

Meals:

Complimentary breakfast will be provided to registered hotel guests each morning.

Lunch will be provided for event participants on Tuesday and Wednesday to keep attendees well-nourished throughout the day.

 

Reception:

A networking reception will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the evening with karaoke, appetizers and drinks. This is a great opportunity for attendees to socialize, make new connections and further professional relationships

Salt Lake City is a very walkable city with many great restaurants and attractions. Our accommodations and classes will be at the Embassy Suites, which has many restaurants and shops close by. It is also approximately 12 miles from the airport.

 

Hotel Information:
RCAC has reserved a block of rooms for this event at Embassy Suites Salt Lake West Valley City in West Valley City, Utah. There is a limited number of rooms available through the room block. To ensure you don't miss out on the room block, we recommend registering early and reserving your accommodation promptly. 

The room block rate is $128 plus tax per night. Reservations under the room block rate must be made no later than July 15, 2023.

Scholarships:
RCAC will offer a scholarship to the first 50 people who register.

 

There is a limit of one scholarship per HUD approved agency. An $811.00 dollar scholarship will be granted to the HUD approved agency to apply toward the cost of lodging, per diem and tuition.

 

Please note, in order to be eligible for the scholarship you must be employed by a HUD approved agency, register, and pay the fees required as part of the registration process in advance.

 

To be eligible for a scholarship you must stay at the RCAC-designated lodging (Embassy Suites Salt Lake West Valley City). You must attend the full length of the Housing Counseling Summit.

 

Scholarships will be issued to the HUD approved agency and NOT to the original form of payment.

 

Scholarship refunds will be processed 30 days after the end of the event.

 

RCAC will select scholarship recipients and inform them via email.

 

Registration & fees:

Registration cost is $150.00 dollars. Registration cost includes class materials, lunch and reception.

We only accept payments made via credit card at this time.
