Description:

Would you like to have a better understanding of how to sustain your system's financial position? Here's your chance. We would like to invite you to join us for a Fundamentals of Financial Management for Small Utilities training showcasing foundational financial skills that will pave your way to a better economic health. The goal of proper financial management is to ensure that your utility is operated as a financially sustainable enterprise, ensuring that you can provide safe and reliable water, both in the short- and long-term, for your customers.

 

Participants will learn:

·        What financial management is

·        The importance of budgeting

·        How to structure your budget

·        How inflation plays a factor in future financial plans

·        Key terms used in the financial statements

·        How financial statements are structured

·        The meaning & importance of financial statements

 

Location:

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.

 

Scholarship & Fees:

Fundamentals of Financial Management for Small Utilities is a free training to attend.

 

Registration:

In order to receive contact hours for online workshops, each person must be registered with their own email address & complete an online evaluation at the end of the training.

 

Are you attending as a group, but not watching from your own computer?

Attendees do not need to participate from their own computer/device for the online trainings, but will need to complete an evaluation to receive credit. Your group leader will need to inform RCAC (registration@rcac.org) about attendees who will view sessions as a group prior to session start. The group leader will forward the evaluation to each person who is watching in the group to their email address. Each person must email the evaluation back to RCAC. Each attendee must be registered with their own email. Please note that sign-in sheets NO LONGER validate attendance at online workshops.
