Description:

Over the years water systems have become more and more complex and it is often difficult for operators to keep up with the changes. This problem is even worse for the new or aspiring water operator. This class is designed to provide new or aspiring operators with a basic introduction to water treatment and distribution systems. It is also designed in a way that even experienced operators can learn something new as well.

 

Participants will learn:

·        Common components of the distribution/treatment systems

·        Storage components

·        Treatment process

·        Disinfection 

·        Maintenance guidelines

 

Target audience: Operators, potential operators, managers, and board members.
