Description:
This is a two-day workshop, presented by RCAC is designed for Tribal Drinking Water Operators to help prepare for the D1/T1 Operator Certification Exams.
The purpose of these workshops is to prepare the Tribal Water Operator with the skills needed to pass a state water operator distribution or water treatment exam. This material will also prep any tribal operators planning on taking the exams through the Inter-Tribal Counsel of Arizona certification exams.
Water Distribution - This workshop will focus on the content needed to prepare for the water distribution examination given by the State Water Resources Control Board and the ITCA exam.
Topics covered will be:
· Distribution operation and maintenance
· Water sources (wells and surface water)
· Regulations
· Water quality
· Conventional treatment
· Practice test
· Water math including volumes, velocity, psi, and dosage
