The NAWMA Eastern Arizona Operator Certification Workshop 4-Part Series training will be held on the following dates and times:

This training is being held in Mountain Time.


Description:

In the arid Southwest, there will always be a need for new tribal operators to take care of our most precious resource. The focus of this workshop is to develop the next generation of tribal water operators with a four-day intensive review of the latest ITCA Need-to-Know criteria.

 

This in-person, free event will allow preparation to take the level 1 distribution operator certification exam to be proctored by ITCA on March 29th, 2024.


Operator certification test preparation topics covered:

·        Distribution system components

·       Equipment installation

·       Operation and maintenance

·       Disinfection monitoring

·       Evaluation

·       Adjustment and lab analysis

·       Security

·       Safety

·       Administrative procedures


 

Participants will have the opportunity to take a certification practice test to gauge their knowledge.
