DEI Best Practices 2-Part Series

 

Accreditation:

This training does not qualify for CEUs/credits.

Certificates will be issued based on approved list from the Housing Counseling team, 30 days after the event.

The DEI Best Practices 2-Part Series training will be held on the following dates and times:

March 12 9:00AM-12:00PM | Part 1

March 14 9:00AM-12:00PM | Part 2

 

This training is being held in Pacific Time.


Description:

Participants will learn the meaning of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). In addition, counselors will learn the steps to develop a DEI initiative. Participants will discuss how DEI is reflected or incorporated in their organizations and will share their successes and lessons learned on their DEI journey.

 

RCAC staff will share their own experience in setting up a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. Participants will analyze the barriers to DEI in the housing counseling industry.

Scholarship & Fees:

There is a $75.00 dollar fee to attend the training.

 

Scholarships are not available at this time.

 

RCAC does not issue refunds for any tuition paid to attend the HUD trainings. Tuition fees are non-refundable, though refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved in writing by the Housing Counseling Program Manager.
