Description:
Before there was pavement there were the footprints of more than two dozen tribes dispersed along the 2400 miles of the mother road. The myths sometimes conflicted with the reality along this well traveled highway, that cut through tribal lands, altering life in many ways. The continued change along this route has created new myths surrounding the people and their most precious resource in this arid land, water. Join us to discuss the real issues that impact water operators in the area.
Topics for discussion include:
· Water sources
· Quality source water protection
· Water quality monitoring emerging contaminants
· Service line inventories
· The myths of being a tribal operator
