The NAWMA Southwestern Arizona Water Cycle Adventures Day 1: Drinking Water training will be held on the following date and time:
July 9 | 9:00AM-3:30PM | Click here to register
These trainings are being held in Pacific Time.
Description:
The water cycle is often taught as a simple circular cycle of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. Although this can be a useful model, the reality is much more complicated. Humans use water for drinking, industrial applications, irrigating agriculture, hydropower, waste disposal, and recreation. It is important that water sources are protected both for human uses and ecosystem health. In many areas, water supplies are being depleted because of population growth, pollution, development, and aging infrastructure. This two-day training will examine how water moves through the natural and man-made environment for our beneficial use.
