Description:

This free, in-person workshop will help small water system operators and administrative staff navigate the state and federal requirements for ensuring all service lines have been identified as lead-free and what to do with lines that are unknown or potentially of lead materials.

Designed especially for those managing multiple responsibilities within their systems, the class provides hands-on interactive training to help identify unknown service line materials and ensure regulatory compliance.

Participants will learn how to assess service line materials through visual inspection and historical records and will leave with practical tools for documenting unknown connections including funding for replacement lines and negotiating with customers to achieve a lead-free water system from source to tap.
