The Q1 Central California NAWMA training will be held on the following date and time:

January 29  | 9:00AM-3:00PM 

This training is being held in the Pacific Time Zone.

Description:

The purpose of these meetings is to provide a forum to discuss evolving drinking water and
wastewater technologies, regulations, and issues facing Tribal water as well as Tribal environmental departments.

The meetings also support local Tribal water operators by providing contact hours needed to maintain drinking water certification. These meetings allow for networking with local operators and environmental staff.

Central California NAWMA sessions will be scheduled throughout the year and coordinated by local RCAC technical assistance providers. The gathering will be held in person.

Agenda Topics:

·    Welcome and Introduction to Central California NAWMA.

·    Updates and review the Quarter:

· Monitoring schedule, Waivers, EPA Tribal Conference.

·    How would like to make a map of your system that you could do yourself. We will look at both Goggle Earth and Diamond Maps.

·    Let’s look at waivers and how to apply for them.

·    AWIA/ERP

·    It is winter and the best time to sit indoors and create or update your Emergency Response Plan. We will go through it step-by-step.

·    Storage tanks are the heart of a distribution system. Let’s walk through the different types of options and how to keep them in good operating condition.

·    Let's talk about sanitary surveys.
