Description:
Public water systems are required to test for a multitude of constituents, both in their water sources and in the distribution system. Come find out how to develop your monitoring schedule by learning how to navigate California regulations and the Public Drinking Water Watch (PDWW). PDWW is an online tool managed by the SWRCB that allows the public to see water quality information for each public water system in the State. It is important to make sure your customers are getting accurate water quality information by knowing how to ensure PDWW information is accurate along with how to follow mandatory public notification regulations.
Participants will learn:
· How to navigate the many resources to determine your monitoring requirements
· An overview of required water quality samples
· How to fill out a chain-of-custody form to ensure lab results make it into PDWW
· Reporting and public notification requirements based off your lab results
Regulations: The recommended audience includes operators, managers and board members.

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.
