Description:

Permitting a new water system requires a multitude of steps and coordination between parties. This training will help define the steps and timeline from information gathering to submitting the necessary documentation through getting a water system approved. Trainees will leave this training understanding what steps are needed to permit a new water system, where to find the information, and to whom to submit the required information.

Participants will learn:

·        Considerations for a new water system

·        SWRCB’s involvement in the permitting process

·        Preparing a preliminary technical report for submittal

·        Completing a technical, managerial, and financial (TMF) assessment

·        Required documents for operating a water system

System Management Series: The recommended audience is Operators, Managers, Board members, Clerks and Financial Managers.

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.
