Accreditation:

6 Arizona Drinking Water Professional Development Hours will be awarded for each day of attendance.

12 Arizona Drinking Water Professional Development Hours will be awarded for attending both days.

This training is being held in the Pacific Time Zone.

Description:

There will always be a need for new tribal operators to take care of the water for their community and its people to ensure that they fulfill their very important work responsibilities of providing safe drinking water to the consumers on a daily basis. Along with this very important responsibility of overseeing a Public Water System, water operators must also work toward attaining their Professional Certification(s) in this field to supplement their combination of work experience and knowledge that displays their capability to effectively do their job in their capacity as water operators. This two-day event will focus on Operator certification preparation as well as EPA Compliance requirements.

·        Water Distribution System Components

·        Water Treatment Operations

·        Water Operator Math

Day Two Topics:

·        Consumer Confidence Report

·        Lead and Copper Sampling

·        Service Line Inventory

·        Monitoring Waivers

·        PFAS Sampling Project
