Description:

As our knowledge of the world around us increases, so does our awareness of risks to our public health. It is vital for operators to stay up to date with the latest information to protect public health. This training open to the public will review the basic knowledge needed to pass the distribution level 1 operator certification test.

Topics:

·        Water sources

·       Distribution system components

·       Introduction to disinfection

·       Summer sampling

·       Operator Math

These topics will allow tribal operators to maintain compliance with safe drinking water regulations and provide safe water to their communities.
