Description:
You are invited to attend the Cuba Water Leadership Institute Series to strengthen readiness, planning and resiliency for your water utilities and for you as a leader.
This is more than a workshop—it’s a chance to build a trusted network of professionals, exchange ideas and solutions to common water problems, and engage in critical collaboration to address your community’s water challenges.
The Water Leadership Institute (WLI) brings together community members and water board leaders to strengthen local leadership, share knowledge and create lasting connections. Through interactive sessions and peer networking, participants develop critical skills in communication, outreach, stakeholder engagement and individual leadership.
Topics that will be discussed are collaboration for rural water systems, addressing workforce challenges and emergency preparedness.
Participants will:
· Strengthen their leadership and communication skills
· Connect with neighboring communities and water systems
· Learn how to advocate for their community’s water interests
· Engage in honest dialogue around local water issues
· Build trust and prepare for long-term collaboration
Stipends are available for participants who complete 75% or more of the training sessions.
