Description:
This online training course is designed to provide water system operators, managers and public works personnel with the knowledge and tools necessary to develop and implement an effective Cross-Connection Control (CCC) Plan tailored to small water systems.
Course Objectives:
· Understand what cross connections and backflow are, and why they pose a risk to public health.
· Identify and assess potential hazards within a water distribution system.
· Learn how to establish a written CCC plan including inventory, inspection schedules and enforcement procedures.
· Explore strategies for public education, customer cooperation and enforcement.

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.

To receive contact hours for online workshops, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.
