Description:
Regulatory inspections and unexpected system leaks don’t have to be overwhelming. This training provides practical tools to help water system operators stay prepared and respond effectively. Participants will learn what to expect from a sanitary survey, including what regulators look for and how to organize documentation to prevent findings. The session also covers how to locate and repair water leaks, from identifying the problem to selecting the best repair fittings for different applications. Finally, operators will review follow-up measures after a repair to ensure system integrity, compliance, and reliable service to their communities.
Participants will learn:
· What to expect form a Sanitary Survey
· How to locate and repair a water leak
· Follow up measures to take after a leak.
The recommended audience includes water operators and office staff for sanitary surveys.
