Public health is the primary concern of water providers, and the only way to ensure your water is safe is to test for possible contamination. Water system sampling can vary from monthly bacteriological sampling to annual nitrate, to triennial VOCs. The “Water Sampling 101” workshop will review monitoring schedules and site sample plans; provide hands-on sampling practice and discuss reporting and public notification requirements.


Participants will learn:

·        Sampling Handling and Preservation

·        Monitoring Schedule(s)

·        Revised Total Coliform Rule

·        Other System and Source Tests

·        Sampling Site(s) Evaluation

 

The recommended audience includes operators, supervisors and managers.
