This online training will cover types of distribution systems and the various components you are likely to encounter in your system, including water mains, valves, hydrants, tanks and more! We will review the basic use and operations of the components, discuss the importance of proper maintenance, and how proper operations and maintenance of your distribution system impacts water quality.


Participants will learn:

·        Distribution basics

·        Common components used in distribution systems

·        Best practices

·        Equipment Maintenance

·        Water quality issues and how to resolve them

·        Troubleshooting

·        Safety

 

The recommended audience includes operators, supervisors, board members and anyone interested in becoming a certified operator.

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.

 

Scholarship & Fees:

Introduction to Distribution Systems is a free training to attend.

 

Registration:

To receive contact hours for online trainings, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.

 

Are you attending as a group online, but not watching from your own computer?

If you'll be joining the online training as part of a group (watching from the same computer), each group member must still be individually registered and complete the Group Attendance Form before the training begins. This ensures everyone receives proper credit.
