RCAC now offers our California Cross-Connection Control training in two parts. Please watch our training calendar for upcoming Level 1 and Level 2 workshops in 2026. In this Level 2 workshop we will delve into California’s new Cross-Connection Control Handbook, highlighting regulatory changes, new requirements, and resources. In California, Handbook regulations are required for all Public Water Systems. In Level 1 we explore the background and basics of cross-connection control, including terminology, hydraulics, case studies, and protection type/degree of hazard. It is recommended, but not required, to complete Level 1 first.

CCCPH Level 2 will cover the following topics:

·        Requirements based on water system type and size

·        Elements of your CCC Program

·        Preparation and filing of your CCC Plan

·        Requesting an extension beyond Plan filing date of 7/1/25

·        Performing Hazard Assessments

·        Evaluating Fire Protection Systems

·        Recordkeeping, Incident Response and Notification

·        Available templates and other resources

Location:

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.
