This workshop will be covering an overview of the content that typically shows up on the state distribution exam. The purpose of this workshop is to help prepare distribution operators to take and pass the state exam. This workshop will also provide resources that will assist operators. 

Participants will learn:

·        Water main piping, service lines and meters

·        Fire hydrants and valves

·        Drinking water chlorination

·        Groundwater wells

·        Water storage tank types and math

System Operations Series: The recommended audience includes operators, managers and board members.

 

Location:

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.

Distribution Operator Exam Overview is a free training to attend.

 

Registration:

To receive contact hours for online trainings, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.

 

Are you attending as a group online, but not watching from your own computer?

If you'll be joining the online training as part of a group (watching from the same computer), each group member must still be individually registered and complete the Group Attendance Form before the training begins. This ensures everyone receives proper credit.
