Water Operators are tasked with the very important responsibility of overseeing a water system and ensuring that safe potable drinking water is provided to the consumers. The water operator’s knowledge and experience in the water treatment processes, such as disinfection, breakpoint chlorination, and chlorine residual testing plays a vital part in effectively identifying the best practices in eliminating pathogens in the drinking water. The focus of this workshop is to develop the next generation of tribal water operators and assist current operators in the exercise of their duties.
