Operators and governing bodies of drinking water systems are held to a high standard to provide their customers with safe drinking water. One of the key regulatory inspections drinking water systems undergo is the Sanitary Survey.

This training is designed to help water systems effectively operate and maintain all components of a water system to consistently provide high-quality, clean, and safe drinking water. Establishing routine practices and maintaining awareness of each element of the sanitary survey supports water system operators and purveyors in protecting public health.

The training will cover the eight essential elements of the Sanitary Survey, including how to prepare for each element of the Sanitary Survey, keeping their water systems healthy, safe, and sustainable.

This training is recommended for system managers, operators, as both new or seasoned governance members.

Scholarship & Fees:

Preparing for Sanitary Surveys is a free training to attend.

Registration:

To receive contact hours for online trainings, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.

Are you attending as a group online, but not watching from your own computer?

If you'll be joining the online training as part of a group (watching from the same computer), each group member must still be individually registered and complete the Group Attendance Form before the training begins. This ensures everyone receives proper credit.
