Description:
This training covers Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) requirements established under the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments as part of the “Right-to-Know” concept. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of providing clear and accurate information to consumers regarding their drinking water quality and safety.
This course will cover:
· An overview of Consumer Confidence Report requirements
· Who the CCR requirements apply to
· Key report deadlines and important dates
· Required report content
· Delivery and distribution requirements
· Recordkeeping requirements
· Information on water sources, violations, and treatment processes (if applicable)
· Step-by-step guidance on creating a Consumer Confidence Report using the EPA's CCR IWriter template
This training is designed to help water systems remain compliant while effectively communicating essential water quality information to their customers.
