This training will outline the history and core elements of the Safe Drinking Water Act.

 

Participants will learn:

·        The history and purpose of the EPA Safe Drinking Water Act

·        Key drinking water standards

·        The responsibilities of public water systems to protect public health


By the end of this training, participants will understand how source water protection, treatment, compliance monitoring, and emergency response work together to safeguard public drinking water.

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.

 

Scholarship & Fees:

Safe Drinking Water Act for Tribes training is free to attend.

To receive contact hours for online training, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.
