Description:
This training provides a step-by-step overview of how to set up Esri ArcGIS Online for water asset management.
Participants will begin with the fundamentals of asset management—what it is, why it is matters, and how to develop an effective asset management plan. From there the training will move into practical application within ArcGIS Online, including how to manage a water utility account, set up field mapping, and create web applications.
Best practices in GIS will be discussed, along with guidance on building and organizing GIS layers to support asset management efforts.
This training will also demonstrate how public data collection tools, such as Survey 123, can be used to gather water system information and assist with lead service line inventories.

Registration:
To receive contact hours for online trainings, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.
