Date & Time:

The Customer Communications & Transparency training will be held on the following date & time:

June 14 | 10:00AM-12:00PM

This training is being held in Pacific Time.

Description:

Outside of operations, communication & transparency are arguably the two most important issues when running a water system. If the customers are not happy, you will not be happy! Without these collaborating factors, consumer confidence can lessen or be lost. Lack of customer support of a public water system will damage morale & could result in potential problems in a system. This workshop will strengthen your relationship with your customers by learning how other water systems communicate & remain transparent with their customers through newsletters, websites, public meetings & outreach.

Participants will learn:

·        How to build a functional communication structure

·        How to maintain financial & operational transparency

·        Community involvement best practices

·        How to maintain good customer correspondence

·        Guidance to maintain customer confidence in your water system

Board Basics Series: The recommended audience includes board members, general managers, financial managers, & operators.

Location:

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.

Scholarship & Fees:

Customer Communications & Transparency is a free training.
