Description:
This workshop covers problems with common Distribution System components (piping, valves, storage tanks, and hydrants), and how they can drastically affect water quality, and as a result, public health. It provides preventive actions and solutions to common problems. Additionally, this lesson presents the water quality changes that may occur as the water moves through the infrastructure in the distribution system. Different water quality parameters and challenges are discussed along with solutions.
