New to the water industry? Interested in a career as an operator? Just want to make sure you’re doing your job right? Join RCAC for a Day in the Life of an Operator to learn more about what it looks like to be a water operator. This workshop will highlight the daily activities you may expect to see while working for a drinking water utility, ranging from responding to customer complaints, collecting samples, completing preventative maintenance activities, & planning to keep your system running.
Participants will learn:
· The key responsibilities of a water operator
· Operation of water system components
· Importance of proper sampling
· Monitoring your systems daily operations
· Addressing customer complaints
Target audience: New water operators, individuals interested in a career in water.
